Finished!

Happy name day for me! ^_^ I wonder which countries have name days? I'm under the impression that it's not very common. I think France has a saint or two for each day, so they could be counted as sort of name days... Anyhow, in Finland there's a couple (or a few) names set for each day so people can celebrate their name days.

I spent this evening at Kyoto Seika Wind Ensemble's "Christmas Party & Live" at the cafeteria. It's so nice that they have all these events at school here ^_^ (Well, I bet they have those in our school in Finland, too, but it's all at the main building which is on the other side of the city from where my department is -_-) The christmas songs and decorations got me a bit more into the christmas mood, which is so hard to catch here where it's warm and sunny and there's not a trace of snow or even frost. (There are even flowers in some of the bushes!) But the concert was nice and people are getting into the christmas spirit, so I'm trying hard, too. Oh, and there was a really cute guy in the ensemble ^_^ (I want to draw him. Actually, I kinda want to make Hisaki from my NaNoManga look like him.) Before I even noticed it was half past seven, and then eight.

I finally finished the wagashi manga today! Well, the artistic part. I still have to get the Japanese checked by one of the manga teachers and then paste it on the speach balloons, but that's easy. All the visuals are done! ^__^ The tones look great, even though I can't use them well yet. Wee! Only the children's manga to go ^__^

By the way, I bought these unbelievable leg warmers from one of the flee marketers at school today. (And a cute white shirt with bear ears on the hood.) The leg warmers are kinda like sleeves from a shirt with a "scottish square pattern" on them and two leather buckles atteached to each. I can't really describe them, but they were so cool I had to have them :D I'd really really like to find some skirts from here too, because there are a lot here, but they're all too small for me. I love the socks and leg warmers, but I only have one skirt to wear them with! I so want to put all these cool weird clothes on when I go back to school in Finland so my classmates can be amazed at what I've become here :D :P Actually, I also want to wear them when I meet my best friends again, too. But I'd really like to expand my collection before that, what I have now is not nearly enough to give a freaky image of me *grin*

Oh yeah, I was supposed to say that there's not enough space on my server to even have all the assorted small versions of my photos up. I had to take some down today because I also use the server space to save my CG class files in between the lessons. I'll either have to fix this with putting some of them on the school server or then I just won't have them all up at one time. I'd rather take the first option, though, but that means I have to build some weird system for that.
